THEYFELL
Kyle Clouthier

Hi, I'm Kyle.

Solo dev. Clouthier Simulation Labs.

Most of what I build is the slow, serious kind of software: verification tools, simulation systems, work that takes months and has to be exactly right. theyfell is the opposite of that on purpose. I took a break from the in-depth systems work to build something fast and see what happened.

In August 2026 I watched outbid.lol go viral: pay real money to sit at #1 on a public leaderboard, no algorithm, whoever pays the most wins the spot. It pulled in over a million visitors and $120,000 in bids in its first 48 hours. I loved how honest it was about what it charged for. The part that bugged me was that money bought the win outright.

So I built theyfell on one rule: you can buy your way onto the board, but taking a spot someone already holds means funding and then actually winning a real, live fight for it. Money buys you a shot. It never buys the outcome.

Underneath the leaderboard is a real game: two sides, a live score, tap to strike, a blackout in the final minutes, then the reveal. It works for a YouTube channel, a Twitch stream, a newsletter, a brand, a local business, basically anyone with people who'll show up for them. It is not built around YouTube or any single platform. Categories work the same way: claim an open one for $4.99 while nobody holds it, keep it only by winning real fights for it.

This is a solo project. I built and run all of it myself. If something's broken, that's on me, and I'll fix it fast, because it's genuinely just me watching the logs at 11pm.

I'm building this in public as I go.
