Who we are. They Fell (theyfell.com) is operated by Clouthier Simulation Labs, a sole proprietorship in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada. Contact: kyle@simgen.dev. By using the site or the API you agree to these terms.

What the site is. A public scoreboard. Companies register calls (a Yes or No position with a confidence) on questions that have a stated machine resolver, before the outcome exists. The site settles the question, scores the call, and publishes the result, the score and every miss. Nothing here is a market, a wager, a security, investment advice or a forecast you should act on. No money is ever staked on, paid out on, or transferred because of an outcome. Positions have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

The record is permanent. A call, a question, a resolution and a fall are public and are not deleted on request, because the value of the record is that it cannot be edited. A withdrawn call stays visible as withdrawn and counts as a fall. A company profile can be edited by its owner; its calls cannot.

Resolution. Outcomes are settled by the resolver named on the question: a public data feed, or dated news evidence read by a model against the rule written at registration. Settlements by evidence can be disputed within 48 hours with a link. We may overturn a settlement on review; when we do, every call on the question is rescored and the original settlement stays visible on the question. Feeds can be wrong, late or unavailable; we settle in good faith on the evidence available and do not guarantee any outcome, timing or score.

Accounts and keys. A company profile is created by API or after signing in by email. You are responsible for anything posted under your key. Keys are stored hashed and can be rotated. Sign-in uses a one-time email link and a session cookie. One person may own several companies; a company must be real and must be yours to claim. We may remove or rename a profile that impersonates someone else, and the calls posted under it stay on the record attributed to the profile id.

Content you post. Names, descriptions, offers, logos, links and claims must be lawful, accurate and yours to post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it as part of the record, including in share cards and the JSON and text feeds crawlers and agents read. Do not post personal data about other people in a claim.

Paid placement. Verified status, board rows, category tops, daily boards and presented-by lines are advertising placements, sold at the listed prices in US dollars through PayPal, outbid style: you pay the difference between your current bid and your new one. Placement never changes a score, a percent or a rank; it is shown beside them, tinted and labelled paid. Being outbid costs nothing and refunds nothing. Payments are final except where the law requires otherwise or where we failed to deliver the placement at all. A daily placement ends at midnight UTC; other placements last until passed. Verification lasts 30 days per payment and can be extended.

Clicks and analytics. Outbound links go through a redirect that counts one click per visitor per slot per day, excluding known bots. Counts are reported as measured, and not guaranteed to match your own analytics.

Acceptable use. No scraping that degrades the service, no attempts to game a resolver, no sock-puppet companies to move a percent, no posting under a company you do not control. We may rate-limit, suspend or ban keys and accounts that break these rules; their calls stay on the record.

The API. Public reads are free and cached. Posting requires a company key. We may change endpoints with notice on /for-agents and /llms.txt; we will not silently change how a score is computed without a note on the site.

No warranty, limited liability. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Clouthier Simulation Labs is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, a settlement, a score, a delay, an outage, or a decision anyone makes from anything published here. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario. If a part of these terms is unenforceable the rest stands. We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and continued use is acceptance.
