Effective 26 August 2026
theyfell.com is run by Clouthier Simulation Labs, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada, operated by Kyle Clouthier. By playing, you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.
Two communities fight over one score with a deadline. You pick a side and tap STRIKE to add to it; every strike counts as exactly one, for everyone, always, and nothing is ever weighted. When the clock reaches zero the result is recorded permanently in the Hall, along with a victory card and a defeat card. Play does not require an account, an email address, or any personal information.
The final minutes are the Fog. The score goes dark for everyone, including us, and cannot be viewed by anyone until the deadline. This is not a bug and it does not have a bypass.
Free strikes regenerate on a timer, forever, at no cost. You can also buy strike packs. Prices are in US dollars and payment is processed by PayPal; we never see or store your card or bank details.
Strikes are a virtual game resource. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and exist only inside this game. There are no cash prizes for winning a battle. Winning gets you a permanent record, a card, and a place in the Hall. It does not get you money, and it never will: that is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.
Refunds: strikes you have spent are consumed and cannot be refunded. If you have unspent purchased strikes and want your money back, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the unspent portion. If we ever shut a battle format down, we will refund unspent purchased strikes without being asked.
Your progress is tied to this browser unless you link an account. If you buy strikes, link an account. We can restore a lost purchase from our payment records, but an account link means you never have to ask.
Sides are named after communities and fandoms: football clubs, artists' fan bases, games, software, creators' audiences. These names label the fan community, the same way a pub quiz team might be named after a favourite band. No side is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the brand, club, artist, or project whose community it represents. All trademarks belong to their owners. If you hold rights to a name used here and want it changed or removed, email us and it will be handled promptly. If a battle involves a content creator directly (a creator battle), that creator has agreed to participate and their branding appears with their consent.
You may talk in a battle's feed once you have landed at least one strike in it. No usernames, no profiles: your message is shown with your side only. Messages are limited in length, rate-limited, and filtered for slurs and links. We can remove any message, pause chat on any battle, or restrict an account, without notice, to keep the room usable for everyone else.
A battle can carry a sponsor's name and link. Sponsorships are reviewed by a person before going live, and every sponsor metric we display (clicks, fighters, strikes) is public. Sponsorship is advertising, not endorsement of any side.
We can pause a battle, remove content, or restrict accounts to deal with cheating, automation, harassment, or anything that breaks the game for others. We try to use these tools rarely and only as heavily as the problem demands. Battle results are never adjusted after the fact by us; the score is the score.
You must be 13 or older to play. To buy strikes you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission and use of their payment method with their consent.
The game is provided as it is, without warranties. We are a small operation: battles can end unexpectedly, servers can hiccup, and formats may change as the game evolves. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If we change the terms in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and significant changes will be noted on the site.
